This place is delicious and groovy. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I loved the half chicken, all their chicken is good, but the chicken sandwich was something special. The Pretzel bun was a good choice. I don't normally like pretzel buns, but it went well with this sandwich. The army soup was good too, a classic. Be sure to get the sausage/rice cake stick. Pretty good. I lived in Korea for a few years and I've tried a lot of the Korean fried chicken places in LA/OC at this point, but the flavors at Chicken Troopers remind me of eating in Korea. Of course, Korea has a wide range of flavors and even many kinds of fried chicken. Chicken Troopers is special, though, I feel like the owner really cares and knows what things should taste like. Overall great experience. Come for the chicken, stay for the disco.
First time here, we came in for lunch. Very friendly cashier. Took our order, bring it was our first time, we didn’t know what to order, menu was easy Chicken plates chicken sandwiches and side. We ordered the honey chicken and chicken sandwiches with Side fries and drinks. The portions are big enough to share, I had mine for dinner that night, having so much left over. The flavor of the chicken was so so good. Fresh and flavorful. The rice was perfect. My husband and son loved their chicken sandwiches, they said the best they ever had. Forgot to add that our order didn’t take long, we were in and out from ordering to eating in less than 1 hour. We will Definitely be back.
We tried the wings, the fried dumplings, the kimchi fried rice, chicken tenders and the honey chicken. Everything was so good! The wings were perfectly sauced and crunchy but still moist. Served super hot and fresh. The dumplings were nice and crunchy. The chicken tenders were yummy. The only way I can describe them is soft and tender. The kimchi fried rice wasn't a hit with the kids, but I enjoyed it. We came here for dinner while traveling. I would definitely eat here again.
This has been a regular spot of mine even after I moved out of the immediate area. The chicken box is a great little meal & my favorite but the grilled bowl is also delicious. Actually everything I've had here is delicious and the evening vibes are fantastic. Low lights & music that doesn't distract from conversation. Did I mention the disco ball?
I was looking for a fried chicken spot and saw this a few times. I decided to check it out and it was worth the trip. I had their charbroiled chicken and the honey chicken tenders. The charbroiled was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was delicious over vegetables. The honey chicken was also really good and the quality of chicken was great also. Overall it was a great lunch to go. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
First time here .I order Kimchi fired rice .my husband order CT chicken sandwiches. Food very good .you can see on his face
My wife and I love coming to this place. It's really close to her job so when I go pick her up we like to stop here on occasion to eat when we don't want to eat at home. Their wings and nicely seasoned and their rice is very well cooked. My favorite sides I like to get is their pickled radishes and their cole slaw. I haven't really tried much else from their menu because I love getting their wings! And their combos are a good value too. Their location is a bit weird though. At first glance you wonder where people are supposed to park because they only have 3 parking spots in the front but once you notice that they have more parking in the back then it all makes sense. I do like that they have plenty of seating, however, it does make me wonder if they've ever had a rush come in where there aren't seats available.
